    I went by the measurements

I went by the measurements and went one size up and they fit, 'Fit'. Could have possibly gone a bit larger

    Sizing Chart Needs Work

Heavy chaps, seem like they will do the trick once I get the right size. I have 23' thighs and usually wear a size 6/8 in women's but went for the men's medium based on the other review that they ran small. I couldn't even get the mediums to zip at the thigh! Waist was a little big, but have to pay the return fee now to exchange for a large, which seems silly. Milwaukee Motorcycle Clothing Co. needs to work on their size chart.

    Great for cold weather riding

I haven't been able to find any heated chaps for women so I bought these as I ride all year. The coldest temp so far in these chaps was 22 degrees. I had them on medium and they worked great. I had to turn them down from the high setting. Sizing is not hard. I just tried on a pair of mens pants and went by that. If you have slender/average legs go with the mens size that fit you. If you have larger legs, go one size up as there is no adjustment in the leg. The back of the waist is one piece and stretches, so no bulky ties and allows for a comfortable fit sitting on the bike. The removable lining is great. The control is very easy to use. Made from high grade leather. They are very supple and flexible right out of the package. Not stiff at all. Ladies, if you buy these, keep in mind they are designed for men. The legs are long. You may have to fold up the linings and stitch the heated panel in place once you see how short you need to cut them. I did this and it took me less then 20 minutes to get a good custom fit. Cut them longer than you think you need, then walk around a bit with your riding boots on. This will mark the heel area of the chap to help with judging length. I highly recommend these to anyone who wants to ride in cold weather.

Love my Milwaukee Leather MLM5513 Men's Leather Chaps!

First the good. These chaps are of great quality. They are easy to operate and the three heat settings are a nice option. They are comfortable to wear, comfortable sitting on my motorcycle, and they do not let any of the cold winter wind through to my legs. The bottom of the chaps at your ankles are not hemmed. They are designed to be tailored to fit. I did have mine tailored to fit and I had a wiring harness sewn into the interior removable liner to plug in my heated socks. Now for the bad.In my opinion, these chaps do not get warm enough. I leave them on high and never use the medium or low settings. I can feel a difference with them turned off so I know that they do heat up. Just not enough for my liking. The interior wiring that connects the shin heat to the thigh heat is running right across my left kneecap. It becomes uncomfortable and noticeable after riding for a little while. I have tried to move the wiring off of my kneecap but it keeps returning to its original position. I feel like these wires should have been run along the zipper seam away from your knees. For the price you pay for these chaps, there should be wiring connectors at the ankles to plug in heated socks. All in all I would recommend these leather chaps to anyone that rides in cold weather. I used them in 14° F temperatures and was for the most part happy with them.

    Good quality

These chaps appear to be well made and provide good heat. I have 23 inch thighs measured over jeans and 32 inch waist. I should wear a small according to Milwaukee Leathers sizing chart. I could not zip the small size around my thigh. Returned for med. Med is very tight at thigh, but I have to cinch the waist belt as tight as it will go and it still isn't tight due to an elastic section in the waist belt. The elastic section should have been put in the thighs.

    Milwaukee leather heated chaps

Chaps are ok but size is off. I bought the xl and the size chart says it is for a 26' thigh and my thigh is under 25' and they fit pretty snug and the waist is huge so I had to add a new hole to do the waist up. Was going to send back and get a large but was afraid the thigh would be to small then. I can feel the heat but so far haven't rode in temps below 35 degrees. I'm 6'3' with long legs and these are plenty long so that's good.
