They were a little long, no problem, I just cut the length with some heavy duty scissors. Everything else was perfect.

The chaps are of good quality. Have not worn them yet but seem to run a little larger in size.

Just a heads up - Reviews are all over the place.I saw one review that states their jean size is a size 12 and they got a size 8 in chaps. My jean size is a 6 and I got an 8 in chaps so you can understand my confusion/ frustration. After reading a ton of reviews I decided to go off my current jean size as other chap manufacturers have stated to select your Jean size as chaps are designed to fit over your jeans. I started with a 6. I have muscular legs (the size chart did recommend an 8 based off my thigh measurement) so the rear zipper was already all the way unzipped and I found I needed to size up.I reordered a size 8 and they fit perfect. For reference I am 5'4, 160lbs and a muscular build. I find that below the belt loops for the chap belt is most comfortable for me and my glutes.Best advice I can give is in the size chartORDER OFF YOUR THIGH MEASUREMENT.Waist size can be adjusted (there is even an expander insert.)I have already trimmed them so they are the length I want in the photos but do come longer than pictured. Hope this helps anyone in the future who has trouble figuring out what size to order! :)

I'm curvey with large thighs and bottom and wear size 16 jeans. I bought these in an 18 and they are perfect over jeans. Not to loose, not to tight. The back thigh zipper is really nice if i have heavier jeans on. These are well made nicely lined and comfortable. The zippers are heavy duty metal. These are my second pair of chaps i bought from this company. (I bought a mens size previously due to needing a larger size unavailable in women's.) the womens chaps definitely fit me better than the mens. The buckle stays put and they fit perfect around the waist hips and thighs. It comes with an extra back insert too. But the waist adjusts to a perfect fit. Definitely go by your thigh measurement since theres a lot of available adjustments in the waist area.

Best fitted chaps and I tried several. I'm normally a twelve in pant size but chose the size ten in chaps cause I measured exactly that on the size chart except for the waist because it has extra lace to expand, it accommodated perfectly.
